I agree without holiness no man shall see the Lord. The outflowing of holiness will be the making of
disciples, will be true worship. We can only truly worship with a true heart when we are striving to be holy as the Lord is holy. The goal of the church is to be more conformed to the image of Christ, and in doing so, there will be an outflowing of all these other things, important to the life of a church.

The reason: The number one goal of the church must be holiness or else all other goals fall apart. Our Witness, evangelism and worship all are diminished if our heart is not right with God. With our lips we may give him service, but if our hearts are far from him then God is not pleased. Now you must answer the question, what does it mean to have your heart close to God? It is to be like Christ and the great difference between us and Christ is his perfection, righteousness, and holiness. Do not hear me wrong, other things are important. However, all else in the Christian life is to flow from our right relationship with God, our holiness. It has often been said that God's greatest attribute is his Holiness, because it holds all the others together and it is the one from which all other attributes flow, so it must be with us as Christians.
